For those into photography you will know how crucial light is, in my opinion there is nothing more important than light; however apart from its existance during a camera click, the thing that most amateurs get wrong is the placement (or the source) of the light. I completed a New Year’s Eve wedding a few days ago, the reception was to be held in a dark (note nightclub dark) marquee. Even though I had a flash unit (Nikon SB-800) on the awesome Nikon D3, I struggled to get any creative lighting; I had to point it directly at my subjects which isn’t ideal. From then on I vowed to get myself a off camera trigger unit and none is more popular than the Pocket Wizards.

I have just purchased two from Ebay, I intend to buy a third so I can fire two flashes at the same time in a dark environment and in a studio setup.
