Awesome tune played with Garageband on iPad
0Now, this is something I imagined was possible, but to actually see it being done is amazing. What this guy produce a sweet little rock track on the an iPad! Who would have thought it was possible a few years ago to make music like this on a tablet! This is where Microsoft got it so wrong, they thought it was about hardware, it’s always been about software.

You’re Beautiful by Phil Wickham. An excellent cover version.
1I’m a Christian and I’m proud of it. Just one of the many benefits are the awesome worship songs out there. You’re Beautiful by Phil Wickham happens to be one of my favourites. I was curious to see what others were doing with that song so I looked up a few on YouTube and found this guy Cory who’s from Oklahoma.
Not only does he remain true to the spirit of the song, but he’s also recorded it properly using proper recording equipment so the sound is much better than a tinny camcorder microphone. Anyway, click the video, have a listen and enjoy!

I see Your face in every sunrise
The colors of the morning are inside Your eyes
The world awakens in the light of the day
I look up to the sky and say
You’re beautiful
I see Your power in the moonlit night
Where planets are in motion and galaxies are bright
We are amazed in the light of the stars
It’s all proclaiming who You are
You’re beautiful, You’re beautiful
I see you there hanging on a tree
You bled and then you died and then you rose again for me
Now you are sitting on Your heavenly throne
Soon we will be coming home
You’re beautiful, you’re beautiful
When we arrive at eternity’s shore
Where death is just a memory and tears are no more
We’ll enter in as the wedding bells ring
Your bride will come together and we’ll sing
You’re beautiful, You’re beautiful, You’re beautiful
I see Your face, You’re beautiful, You’re beautiful, You’re beautiful
I see Your face, You’re beautiful, You’re beautiful, You’re beautiful
I see Your face, I see Your face
I see Your face, You’re beautiful, You’re beautiful, You’re beautiful
Lost Minute video I made has had over 500 views.
0I know it’s not viral or anything, but still, it’s not a bad achievement considering I had no time to plan, no budget and a make shift room just outside Milton Keynes!
My very first Music Video. Decisions by Lost Minute
0With some help from a friend, a Canon HV30 camcorder, two very bright lights and some editing in Final Cut Pro I directed, produced and cut this video together. Let me know what you think!
Lost Minute, a little video I made.
0Lost Minute is a local band which I have only recently been aware of. Their debut single ‘Decisions’ is a song I enjoyed immediately. During their intimate gig yesterday in Aylesbury I brought along a Video Camcorder as well as my Nikon. I took it into Final Cut Pro, added a couple of filters and edited it together. Although I didn’t have much footage to work with (which I was aware of at the time) I was pleased with the slow motion effects I used. The hardest part was finding a setting that looked on Youtube and Facebook; there was a bit of trial and error with Compressor during that process.
I love my photography, but for as long as I remember I have been fascinated by the art of cinematrography. I really enjoyed the editing process and hope there will be more opportunities to come.

A Photographer’s Pride and Prejudice
0I can’t help feeling a huge sense of pride with Kelly. She has come along way. I’ll be honest, all I did was give her access to some expensive camera equipment, she did the rest so the pride does not come from that. No, the pride stems from watching someone grow into a role that suited her so well that it was like destiny. Last night we went out to catch the last few songs of The Red Bullets. The way she just flowed into that environment was amazing. She took out her camera and walked right up to the front as if it were the most natural thing in the world. I knew just a few months ago she would giving it a second thought.

I have always said to her that if she continues and gives it her all, then she will become a far more successful photographer than I ever could. And when that day comes I know I will be forever in her shadow.
