Aylesbury Youth For Christ at Coventry.

Once again filmed with the Canon 5D Mark2, I was asked to document our charity’s commissioning at Coventry. it was a great day, even though I was hobbling along because of a foot injury. The camera performed brilliantly. The only problem when shooting video with the Canon 5D Mk2 is the battery life. I think it would be necessary to have 2-3 batteries and a whole heap of Compact Flash cards if you wanted to film all day.

I know it’s not viral or anything, but still, it’s not a bad achievement considering I had no time to plan, no budget and a make shift room just outside Milton Keynes!

Lost Minute is a local band which I have only recently been aware of. Their debut single ‘Decisions’ is a song I enjoyed immediately. During their intimate gig yesterday in Aylesbury I brought along a Video Camcorder as well as my Nikon. I took it into Final Cut Pro, added a couple of filters and edited it together. Although I didn’t have much footage to work with (which I was aware of at the time) I was pleased with the slow motion effects I used.
